To get your reservation deposit refunded, contact your housebuilder. Your reservation deposit is collected through Yourkeys and passed on to the housebuilder you are buying from. Whether it is refundable, and how much, is set by the housebuilder's reservation terms, so refunds are decided and issued by the housebuilder.
This article includes:
How do I ask for a refund?
- Contact your sales adviser at the housebuilder and ask for the refund. Have your reservation reference and the date of payment to hand
- Whether a deposit is refundable, and how much, depends on the housebuilder's reservation terms, which you agreed when you reserved. Yourkeys cannot change those terms
- Refunds go back to the card or account the deposit was paid from
When should I contact Yourkeys support?
If a payment failed, was taken twice, or you were charged but the reservation does not show the deposit as paid, contact Yourkeys support using the Contact support form with your reservation reference and a screenshot of what you see. We will look into the payment record with the housebuilder.
