Representing a developer/seller on Yourkeys

So, you’re representing a developer/seller/housebuilder that is using Yourkeys. Great, welcome aboard!

Once your account is set up and approved, you’ll receive a notification linking your account to that of the development you’re instructed on. All the development information is pre-loaded into the platform by the developer.

You’ll then start to receive notifications every time a new reservation comes in. These reservations are added into the platform via marketing suites and estate agents using the Yourkeys system.

When a new reservation occurs, you’ll be notified of the details of the purchase and everyone who is involved and asked to upload the draft contract pack, this will automatically distribute the document to the appropriate parties.

Once received, the buyer’s conveyancer can get to work, they’ll make their way through the various sections updating the platform as they go. Yourkeys will automatically calculate estimated exchange and completion dates and we’ll give them a little nudge if they’re approaching any deadlines.

The process is broken down into steps:

  • Buyer’s conveyancer appointment

  • Draft contract

  • Mortgage

  • Searches

  • Enquiries

  • Contract

  • Deposit

  • Exchange of contracts

  • Financial statement

  • Pre-completion checks

  • Legal completion
