When will the completion date be?

The date for completion will be either a fixed date agreed by all parties on exchange of contracts if the property is complete and ready to move into or  the date specified in a notice served by the developer's conveyancer on your conveyancer saying that the property is now ready (i.e. if you have bought off plan and exchanged long before the build is complete) and gives you time to provide any balance funds to complete, your conveyancer to carry out final searches and obtain any mortgage funds as well as you or a surveyor to carry out snagging checks prior to the completion date- i.e items that require rectifying prior to or within a specified time after completion.
