To work out the stamp duty for the sale, we will ask a few questions about the buyer such as:
- Are they buying their next home as their main residence?
- Are they a first-time buyer?
- Are they buying an additional or buy-to-let property?
Based on the answer provided, we will automatically calculate the stamp duty based on the Estimated legal completion date entered in the previous step and whether they are buying their first home.
You can also manually edit the stamp duty amount to ensure you have total freedom over your reservation.
