The Major Milestones page is where you will add in the Exchange date and the Estimated legal completion date. We ask for these dates so that we can calculate the Stamp Duty based on any holiday or extension periods for you in the next step.
The Exchange date will default to 21 days for Cash or 28 days for Help to Buy/Mortgage and the date is editable.
The Estimated legal completion date format allows you to choose from a variety of completion date formats:
- Exact date
- Month
- Quarter
- Month range
When an option is chosen, you can fill out the box for the Estimated legal completion date below.
Once completed, click Save & next to continue with Stamp Duty.
